THE WARRIOR WITHIN - SUMMER DAY RETREAT
Join us to honour the beginning of summer with our next Yoga Healing day retreat at the stunning Hambledon Vineyard.
During the summer months our inner warrior is at her strongest, rife with fire, expression, creativity and the desire to grow. For some this is the most desirable point of the year. We absorb the warm healing light of the sun so that we may in turn recharge and revitalize our inner warrior to shine that light back out into the world.
At the summer solstice, the days are long and the nights are short until the light reaches its peak and we begin to slowly welcome back the darkness. As we work with the wheel of the year and the seasons of life, we become aware of our own inner cyclical rhythm.
Honouring the warrior within, how can you have the courage to be flexible and continue to show up and be present with all that life brings you as we celebrate the return of the dark? What lights your inner fire? How do you nurture and sustain your light, creativity, and relationships in this wheel of transition?
This day retreat will open up the search for power through connection, love and growth of the inner warrior to feed your creative fire.
We’ll begin with a Yin Yang Yoga practice that expresses our inner desires and creative energy.
A deep Theta meditation will guide you to connect to your inner warrior to bring warmth, nourishment and passion in to your relationship with yourself and others.
Reiki healing will support you in releasing any energetic and creative blockages or imbalances to activate this period of unimaginable growth.
The practice will be followed by a nutritious picnic in the Vineyard.
Once your tummy is feeling lovingly nourished, Wine Educator Katrina Smith will guide you on a journey through the Vineyard sharing tales of Hambledon’s Wine making, and how we can learn so much from the earths cycles. Just like our own cycle, the vines have been growing to their fullest creativity, expressing themselves in sweet summer treasures.
YOGA HEALING DETAILS
Yin & Yang Yoga: Starting with a wonderfully nourishing and restoring floor based yin practice before moving into a flowing meditative yang practice to encourage the energy to move freely within the body.
Theta: Theta is a non-invasive energy healing technique that uses meditation to empower you for positive change and train your brain with the things that your spirit already knows how to do.
Reiki: Reiki is an ancient Japanese healing therapy which is a gentle hands on treatment. It works by intuitively activating your body’s innate ability to heal itself. Reiki heals and clears stagnant energy blocks and patterns so energy can flow freely in your body. This energy is deeply nourishing helping to soothe chronic conditions, release trauma and assist in physical recovery.
